ABOUT / ENGINEERING DIRECTION

Following the systems that need to keep working.

I started working as a software developer in 2011. The work has moved from applications toward the systems beneath them: distributed infrastructure, data platforms, ML infrastructure, and now enterprise AI platforms.

WHAT HOLDS MY ATTENTION

Enterprise-scale system design is most interesting where it becomes operational: the control plane, system boundaries, ownership, diagnosis, recovery, and the evidence available when something fails.

I’m especially interested in governable AI systems, reproducible behaviour, explicit contracts, vendor-neutral architecture, and the failure isolation required to evolve complex systems with confidence.

WORKING PRINCIPLES

01Operational stability over elegance

02Explicit ownership

03No hidden contracts

04Failure isolation

05Reproducibility

06Version meaningful behaviour

07Observability by default
